Dayworth Consulting and Horizon Water Infrastructure: two years into a five-year strategic partnership

For the past two years, Horizon Water Infrastructure (HWI) has worked in strategic partnership with Dayworth Consulting to help water companies deliver smarter, more resilient and operationally effective infrastructure programmes across the UK.

Now two years into a five-year partnership, Dayworth Consulting has become an integrated extension of the HWI team — bringing specialist expertise across smart water, leakage strategy, network optimisation and infrastructure performance.

The partnership combines HWI’s infrastructure and programme delivery capability with Dayworth’s deep operational and technical expertise, supporting the delivery of smarter infrastructure programmes and HWI’s Funded Data-as-a-Service (FDaaS) model. Together, this enables customers to benefit from both strategic thinking and practical, real-world delivery experience.

Dayworth Consulting played an important role in supporting the design and delivery of HWI’s work on the Southern Water Smart Meter Upgrade Programme, contributing strategic, operational and technical expertise across programme development and delivery.

Alongside ongoing programme support, the Dayworth team continues to work closely with HWI on significant future opportunities as utilities increasingly look for integrated delivery partners capable of combining smart infrastructure expertise with operational understanding and practical implementation capability.
